Congrats To The Phillies

So, the Philadelphia Phillies ended the Tampa Bay Rays' magical season last night with their 4-3 win during game 5. Game 5 had been suspended in the bottom of the 6th inning Monday night due to inclement weather. The game was supposed to resume Tuesday night but was postponed to Wednesday night due to, once again, inclement weather. Finally, last night Philadelphia got the major sports title they had been waiting for and I could not be any happier for all Phillies fans. Also, I'm happy the Phillies won because those same Rays had ended my Red Sox season.

Two To Go

So, the Red Sox are still alive in the MLB postseason! What a game last night! The Sox were down 7-0 going to the bottom of the 7th inning and pretty much everyone had given up on them. If you were watching the game on TBS they kept showing how the Red Sox faithfull was leaving Fenway Park. I gotta admit, I thought they were gonna rally but I seriously didn't think that they would come back from 7 runs down to score 8 unanswered and take game 5.If this were football I would give the game ball to: the Red Sox bullpen and JD Drew both. JD Drew, thank you so much! He had 3 RBI in the game - they were the most important RBI in the game, nonetheless. He hit a 2-run shot to get the Sox only down 1 run and then he hit the game-winner RBI ground-rule double to bring Kevin Youkilis in.Josh Beckett pitches during game 6 at Tampa against "Big Game" James Shields. Red Sox nation needs for Beckett to go back to the 2007 postseason and bring all that amazingness back to the nation. PLEASE!

So the ALCS starts tonight. Boston V. Tampa. Of course I gots the Sox winning. No doubt about it. If they don't win, I'm gonna flip my shit, just so you know. That is all.

MLB Playoffs

So the playoffs started last night and I'm so stoked that my Red Sox went to LA (or, Anaheim, I guess) and beat those fucking "Halos" aka the Angels. Hell fucking yeah!!! Two more wins and we're in the ALCS, bitches!

I don't really care who wins in the NL because we all know the AL is the far superior league with better pitchers and better hitters, so whoever comes out of the AL is gonna win the World Series, in my humble opinion.

On another note, my favorite couple on my favorite soap ("Nikodine" on General Hospital) got freaky yesterday. Well, I guess "freaky" wouldn't really be the way to describe it - they made sweet, tender lurve. Haha. And here's the video to prove it.

I'm not a perv - I swear! But that scene was just so damn cuuuute. Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine) and Claire Coffee (Nadine Crowell) did such a great job selling this connection that the two have. BUT I did read some spoilers that say she pulls away from him after "the deed" ... or something like that.
